Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven leader to oversee sales and marketing efforts for a dynamic hospitality environment

at The View Hotel, a Trademark by Wyndham located in Orlando, FL, 150 rooms. 

In this role, you will shape and execute initiatives that drive revenue growth, strengthen brand visibility, and create memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in hospitality sales, marketing leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to support business goals and revenue targets.
  • Lead efforts to grow occupancy, average daily rate, and overall revenue across key market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, event planners, and community stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and brand positioning efforts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and performance data to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with operations and revenue management teams to align pricing, positioning, and demand strategies.
  • Direct and support the sales team through coaching, goal setting, performance management, and professional development.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
  • Represent the property at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings as needed.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities reflect the property’s standards for service, quality, and brand consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in hotel sales, hospitality management, or a related field with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of hotel sales processes, revenue management principles, and financial performance metrics.
  • Experience working within branded hotel environments (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, etc.) is a plus, experience with independent hotels is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing revenue-generating strategies.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality market segments, distribution channels, and competitive positioning.
  • Experience managing teams, building client relationships, and driving measurable performance outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tools, and common business software applications.
